It's no secret that a souped up version of HTC's One X is headed to T-Mobile in the US as the One X+ but now it looks like it might be on its way to the UK as well. The news this time comes from Stuff magazine which claims to have been told by a "trusty mole" at the phone-maker that the device is on its way and is currently codenamed the Endeavour C2.
The main improvements compared to the One X include a faster 1.7GHz quad-core processor, the original's was clocked at 1.5GHz, and a bigger battery. As well as this it's also expect to offer ClearVoice technology and less excitingly a new colour option. It's said that the handset will be compatible with the all the One X's old accessories so it seems like there's going to be little difference externally.
Aside from the upgraded hardware the rest of its specs should remain the same with other key features including a 4.7" display, 32GB of internal storage and a rear-facing 8mp camera which is joined by a front-facing 1.3mp one.
While the UK's version is supposedly known as the Endeavour C2 at the moment there doesn't seem to be any reason for it not to launch as the One X+. While the "One" brand might have suffered in terms of sales thanks to intense competition from the likes of Samsung and Apple it's still an impressive device which now promises to be even better.
If the rumours are true then the handset should touchdown on British shores at sometime before or on October 1 and be offered for just £5 more a month than the One X. As for the US version it's currently rumoured that T-Mobile is going to be getting it at some point in September.
